We are pleased to present a high-quality four-sided die (multi-groove prism) from Digima, designed for professional sheet metal forming applications. The tool has been designed for use with press brakes utilising the Amada clamping system and is suitable for operations with a pressing force of up to 63 tonnes. Manufactured from high-grade T8A tool steel, it guarantees optimum hardness and exceptional resistance to cracking and deformation under cyclic loads.

The main advantage of this die is its versatility. Thanks to its four-sided design, the tool offers several different V-channels, allowing sheet metal of various thicknesses to be bent without the need for time-consuming machine changeovers. Precise grinding of the working surfaces ensures minimal friction and excellent repeatability of bending angles across the entire length of 2,500 millimetres. This is the ideal solution for workshops prioritising mass production efficiency and a high-quality finish on workpieces.

  • Total length of the tool: 2500 millimetres.
  • Cross-section of the body: 65 millimetres by 65 millimetres.
  • Lateral dimensional tolerance: 65 millimetres with a permissible deviation of between minus 0.1 and minus 0.05 millimetres.
  • Clamping and stabilisation system: the die has mounting sockets for 2 M12 bolts, 25 millimetres deep.
  • Technical details: relief channels (tool exits) measuring 2 by 2 millimetres are provided at the bottoms of the grooves.

Geometry of the working grooves (V-channels):

  • Available V-opening widths: based on the dimensions shown in the drawings, the die offers channels with widths of 10 mm, 12 mm, 16 mm and 24 mm.
  • V-groove opening angle: all unmarked groove angles are 86 degrees.
  • Rake edge radii: the working edges have been finished with an R2 radius.
  • Other radii: all unmarked fillets are R 0.5 millimetres.
